Start from Planner
Open Planner, select Add to Planner, and choose Create Specific Dates/Drops. If you have no location, complete location setup first.
Create the shared schedule
Enter a Drop name customers will recognize, such as Weekend bread pickup.
Set Type to One drop or Recurring. One drop can include several pickup or delivery days; it is not limited to one calendar day.
Choose Pickup only, Delivery only, or Pickup + delivery when available on your plan.
For a One drop, set the Anchor date. Add schedule blocks with their start and end dates, mode, and times. Use Add block for another time or day.
For a Recurring drop, set Starting Date, the recurrence pattern, and its required options. Review the first edition before saving the repeating schedule.
For each pickup block, check one or more Pickup locations for this block. Different blocks can offer different locations.
Set the Customer ordering schedule, save, and use the management sheet’s Products and Inventory tabs to finish setup.
Example: Thursday offers two pickup locations and Saturday offers one, with a shared menu and inventory.
One edition, one menu, one stock pool
All dates and locations in a drop edition share its products and inventory. An edition is one occurrence of the drop, including every block in that occurrence. A Thursday pickup and Saturday pickup can be two choices within the same edition, rather than separate releases.
For example, offer 20 loaves with Thursday pickup at two locations and Saturday pickup at one. Customers choose a valid day, time, and location, but all purchases draw from the same 20 loaves. Another recurring edition has its own inventory.
Edit dates without changing their spacing
For a One drop, changing the Anchor date moves every block by the same number of days, keeping their times and spacing. Edit an individual block when only that pickup option needs to change.
For a recurring drop, open any occurrence, select Schedule, then choose Edit all dates to change the series. Set the Starting Date, recurrence pattern, and end condition, then save. Edit this date changes only that occurrence; use it for a one-date exception. Review products, inventory, and customer ordering times after changing a schedule.
What customers see
Customers see eligible dates, times, and locations for the shared drop. Choices must be active, within the booking horizon, before their applicable cutoff, not blocked, and supported by the products in the cart. A future recurring edition can exist in Planner before it is within the customer booking limit.
Use Share this drop for a link to the edition. Customers can choose among its available pickup options; the shared link does not need to force a location.
Common problems
A pickup block has no location: select at least one location for that block.
No products appear: attach products in the management sheet; creating a schedule does not attach all products automatically.
Stock seems shared between days: that is expected within one edition. Create separate drops if you need separate menus or stock pools.
Orders stop earlier than expected: review whether the ordering rule stops at the first pickup start or allows ordering through the drop’s end with product lead times.
Delivery or another location is unavailable: check your plan’s delivery and location entitlements.
Stop or reopen ordering for one edition
Select the edition in Planner and use Customer orders, visible across Schedule, Products, and Inventory. Stop accepting orders immediately closes that edition across all of its pickup days and locations while leaving existing orders, pickups, reservations, and inventory intact. Other recurring editions are unchanged, and the closed edition remains in your Planner.
Reopen orders lets you confirm a future cutoff and choose Reopen orders now. Change cutoff changes only the deadline; a manually closed edition remains closed until you reopen it. Use these controls to finish taking preorders rather than archiving the drop or moving booked pickup blocks. Follow the close, reopen, and cutoff guide.
