Open Planner
Go to Planner. The header says “Plan when you sell, what you sell, and how much.” The main actions are Add to Planner and Weekly Schedule. Planner settings contains Booking settings, Calendar sync, and Manage locations.
Two scheduling systems
- Specific Dates/Drops: one-time or recurring windows such as a market, launch, preorder, or limited run. Products are attached to a drop and can have occurrence-specific inventory.
- Weekly Schedule: ongoing pickup or delivery availability. Products and schedules are assigned per location and fulfillment type; simple and variant stock remains global.
A reliable Planner routine
- Create or confirm a location.
- Choose Weekly Schedule or create a Specific Date/Drop.
- Assign products to the correct location and fulfillment mode.
- Set the customer ordering schedule and cutoff.
- Block holidays or product-specific dates when necessary.
- Review inventory and open the customer-facing products link to test the result.
What customers see
Customers see only the options that are active, within the booking horizon, before the order cutoff, not blocked, and eligible for the selected location and fulfillment mode.
Common problems
- Calendar event exists but product is absent: attach the product to the window or save its Weekly Schedule assignment.
- A recurring event behaves differently on one date: check for occurrence-level schedule or product exceptions.
- Customers cannot select a future recurring date: review Booking settings and the advance booking limit.
