Choose the form on your Contact page

Use the built-in Contact form or explicitly select a saved contact form without showing both.

Choose the form customers see

Open Pages and edit your Contact page. In the Contact Form section, use Form to display to choose the built-in form or a saved contact form. Save the page after making the selection.

The selected saved form replaces the built-in form in that section. Creating a contact form in Forms does not automatically attach it or publish it.

Use the built-in form

Choose the built-in form for a straightforward contact flow. Review the form title, description, phone and subject fields, success message, and automatic reply settings in the Contact page editor.

Use a saved form

  1. In Forms, create a form with the Contact & custom order inquiries purpose.
  2. Add your inquiry questions and review the form's settings and notifications.
  3. Save it as active.
  4. Return to the Contact page, select it under Form to display, and save the page.
  5. Open the published Contact page and confirm that the intended form appears once.

Manage a saved form's questions and automatic reply in Forms. The built-in form's controls apply to the built-in form.

A separate custom-order page

If the inquiry needs its own page, create a blank page and add a Form block that selects the saved form. Publish when ready. Blank-page access follows your plan.

Common problems

  • A new form is not visible: save the explicit page connection.
  • The selected form is unavailable: review its active status and select a usable contact form.
  • The email reply differs from the on-page message: the success message and automatic reply email have separate settings.
