Plan availability: Pro. Open Manage → Labels → Label paper on a desktop to configure paper and reusable business details.
Add a roll or sheet
- Choose Add label paper and enter a name you will recognize when printing.
- Choose Roll or Sheet, then inches or millimeters.
- Enter the label width and height from your paper specifications. These must match the physical size of the design.
- For sheets, choose Letter or A4 as a starting page size, or enter the page dimensions. Set the number of columns and rows, top and left margins, and gaps between labels.
- Choose Save label paper.
The screenshot shows an example sheet configuration. Use the measurements printed on your own label stock; page size alone does not determine its margins, gaps, or label layout.
Print a small alignment test
Download a label PDF and select 100% / Actual size in your print dialog. Match the printer paper size to the saved stock. Do not use Fit to page: Label Studio preserves physical dimensions rather than stretching a design onto a different label size.
If the whole print is shifted, use Adjust print alignment (optional) in the paper settings. If alignment drifts farther across rows or columns, check label dimensions, margins, and gaps first. Keep artwork inside the printable page, save the correction, and generate a new run to test the new settings.
Choose business details for labels
The business name, email, phone, website, license or registration wording, and legal wording can start from Business Settings. Edit or clear them for labels as needed. Use saved business details lets you restore the source details.
A printable address is never filled automatically. Enter the address you intend to print or choose Use saved business address. The business logo can reuse the saved logo or use a different image for labels.
These fields are optional settings: only fields added to a design print. A field used in the design still needs a value before printing, so remove any field you do not intend to use. Review any labeling reference and wording for your business before adopting it.
Add your own reusable fields
Under Custom field definitions, add text, number, or date details and choose whether each belongs to the business, a product label, or each print. Save the business fields, add the detail to the design, and enter its value at the appropriate stage.
