Plan availability: Pro. Delivery Options require Pro. Distance quotes require a configured origin and routing provider. The active production feature matrix is authoritative if an administrator changes an entitlement.
Set the origin
Configure a location-specific delivery origin in Planner when possible. The fallback order is Planner location origin, Checkout Settings custom origin, Planner/Square address, then business contact address.
Configure delivery
- Open Checkout Settings.
- Set delivery fee, free-within-miles, free-over-subtotal, and postal-code restrictions.
- Choose whether customers select delivery date and time.
- Enable delivery instructions for gate codes, access notes, or drop-off preferences.
What customers see
Customers see delivery when their cart and address satisfy the configured rules. A distance quote uses driving distance, not straight-line distance.
Common problems
- If driving distance cannot be calculated, the quote fails closed and the customer should choose pickup or contact the business.
- Location-specific origins override the legacy global origin.
- Disabling date/time collection means the customer sees the matching delivery range rather than selecting a slot.
