The sidebar in four groups
Open Dashboard. The sidebar lists every page in four groups, with the pages in each group in alphabetical order. Getting Started and Dashboard sit above the groups, and Settings sits in the footer of the sidebar.
Shop (open by default): Customers, Drops & hours, Forms, Orders, Products, Promotions.
Kitchen: Labels, Recipes & Costs.
Communicate: Email, Messages, Newsletters, Notifications, Reviews.
Website: Analytics, Pages & Posts, QR Codes, Website Editor. Shops that still use the older homepage tools see Homepage Editor and Themes here instead of Website Editor.
Select a group name to collapse or expand it. Kitchen, Communicate, and Website start collapsed, and a collapsed group shows a count badge when something inside it needs attention, such as unread email or reviews waiting for approval. On a desktop you can also collapse the whole sidebar to icons with Collapse sidebar at its edge.
Drops & hours is the Planner. Its address is still /dashboard/planner, and its in-page buttons still read Add to Planner and Planner settings.
Pages that are now tabs
Several former sidebar pages are tabs at the top of a larger page. Their addresses have not changed, so saved links still work.
Promotions: Coupons, Gift cards, Store credit, Loyalty.
Orders: Physical, Digital, Subscriptions.
Notifications: Customer alerts, Text messaging.
Pages & Posts: Pages, Posts, Media.

Pin what you use every day
Point at any sidebar item and select its pin button; on a phone or tablet the pin is always visible. Pinned items move to a personal block above the groups, in the order you pinned them. Unpin an item the same way.
Search from the sidebar
Looking for something? at the bottom of the sidebar opens the search. Type the name of a page or a setting, such as tipping or website address, and choose a result to jump there. On a keyboard, press ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows from anywhere in the dashboard.
The top bar and the bottom bar
The top bar keeps notifications, Share & Earn, and View Live Site. The thin bar along the bottom of the window holds Page guide (how the current page works), Help & support, What's new, and, on the right, Ask Copilot. See Get help: Help & support, Page guide, and What's new.
On a phone
The menu button at the top left opens the sidebar as a drawer that fills the screen and closes as soon as you pick a page. Each page's main action floats at the bottom right above the bottom bar, and the bottom bar shortens Help & support to Help. See Run your shop from your phone.
Common problems
A page I used is gone from the sidebar. It is probably a tab or a Settings card now. See Where things moved (October 2026), or search for it.
The sidebar looks short. Expand a collapsed group by selecting its name. Pinned items are listed above the groups.
A tab shows a lock. That feature is part of a higher plan; the page explains what the upgrade unlocks.
