What Goes Into a Product

Product Photo
The main image customers see. Use natural light, show the food at its best.

Name & Description
Clear name and describe flavors, size, allergens, etc.

Price
Your selling price. You can set different sizes with different prices.

Buying strategy
Choose how customers order: Weekly Schedule for ongoing products or Specific Dates/Drops for preorders, markets, events, and limited batches.
How to Add a Product
- 1Go to Products in your dashboard sidebar
- 2Click Add (or Add Your First Product if your catalog is empty), then choose a blank product or template
- 3Upload a photo, add name, description, and price
- 4Choose buying strategy: Weekly Schedule for ongoing products or Specific Dates/Drops for preorder batches, markets, events, and limited pickup dates
- 5Review the details, then click Create Product
Setting Up Specific Dates/Drops
If you choose Specific Dates/Drops, set up the dates and pickup or delivery options customers can order from.
- 1.Go to Planner in your dashboard
- 2.Click Add to Planner and choose Create Specific Dates/Drops. Add a location first if prompted
- 3.Set the date, pickup or delivery details, and products available for that date/drop
Pro Tips
- Consistent photos — Use similar lighting and angles across all products for a cohesive look
- Describe allergens — List nuts, dairy, gluten, etc. in the description. It's required in many states!
- Use categories — Group similar items (Cookies, Breads, Pastries) for easier browsing
- Specific Dates/Drops — Perfect for preorder-only items, markets, events, and limited batches.
