Launch Your Site
Review your live storefront, checkout terms, and pickup details before sharing your address.
Pre-Launch Checklist

Business profile complete
Name, logo, contact info, and hours are filled in.

Products added
At least one shop-visible product with its price and order availability reviewed.
✅
Payments connected
Finish account verification, choose your card-payment default, and confirm checkout is ready in Settings → Payments.

Store policies set
Terms of Sale and pickup instructions are ready for customers.
How to Set Store Policies
- 1Go to Settings → Checkout in your dashboard
- 2Write your Terms of Sale, including any cancellation or refund policy you want customers to see
- 3Click Save checkout settings
- 4In Planner → Manage Locations, edit each pickup location's Pickup/Access Instructions

Review the customer view
Use View Live Site in the dashboard to check products and checkout before sharing your address.
Your Cottage CMS address is already active at yourname.cottagecms.com. There is no separate site-wide go-live switch. If you connect a custom domain, wait until the dashboard shows its DNS and SSL setup is complete before sharing it.
Post-Launch Tips
- Share on social media — Post to Facebook, Instagram. Announce you're open!
- Tell friends and family — Word of mouth is powerful for cottage food
- Check your orders — Log into the dashboard daily to see new orders come in
- Keep products updated — Mark items as unavailable when you can't make them
